Marge, "Gram", Yasick
Title: The big boss, Bill's mom, Marge or "Gram".
It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved Gram.
Mary “ Marge” (Sweeney) Yasick, 93, of Millville, MA passed away peacefully on May 22, 2018 at Countryside Rehabilitation Center of Milford, MA with family by her side.
Marge worked at Bryant University from the day it opened in 1971 and retired at the age of 90 after 44 years of checking students into the Salmanson Dining Hall. Through the years the students and faculty became more like extended family to her. She was a familiar face at many games and events such as the Mr. Bryant shows, Homecoming and the annual Senior Citizen Prom. She also enjoyed playing Mrs. Clause at the Festival of Lights celebration. She truly loved being a member of the Bryant community and will be remembered as a “Bryant-Legend”.
She was forced into retirement from Bryant, after two broken hips, but that didn't stop her, she became the full-time greeter here at Countertops by Superior, keeping everyone in line and keeping customers entertained as they waited patiently. She was well known by our regular customers for baking her signature Chocolate Chip Walnut cookies here in the office kitchen anytime she could. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
